Information from obituary of August Sayler After his marriage, August and his wife spent their first 8 years of life together on a farm four miles southeast of Menno, SD. In 1945 they moved to a farm 3 miles northwest of Tripp, SD where they farmed until 1972. They retired from farming and moved into Tripp, in 1972. August moved to the Menno-Olivet Care Center in Sep of 1987 having been diagnosed with cancer. There were no children listed in the obituary of August nor in the obituary of his wife Louise
