Edgar H. Schroetlin, 95, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on October 30, 2015, in Lincoln. He was born July 10, 1920, in Bonesteel, South Dakota, to Henry and Katharina (Roth) Schroetlin.
Edgar was the retired owner of a tire store and filling station and a retired school bus driver. He also served in the U.S. Army.
Edgar is survived by: his son, Jerry (Paula) Schroetlin; step-daughter, Diane (Grant) Davis; sisters, Esther Brown and Lillian Mathieson; brother, Ben Schroetlin; two step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Marilynn Schroetlin; sisters, Erma Franklin, Martha Haas; brothers, Herman Schroetlin, Ted Schroetlin, Bill Schroetlin, Reuben Schroetlin, Arthur Schroetlin.
Graveside service, with military honors on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln.
