Hilda vicinity, Seventh Day Adventist, SW 15-18-1-W4, one mile west and two miles north of Hilda at the junction

Lydia, born October 3, 1900, married John Heinz March 18, 1919. They lived at Hilda, Alberta. She passed away January 28, 1928. They had five children: Elroy, Bill, Harry, Edna, and Ella.

Lydia was a nursing baby when the diptheria epidemic hit - -she was the sole survivor of eight children. She came to Alberta with her parents in 1903 and was married to John Heinz on 18 March, 1919. They had 5 small children when she had a heart attack and died at the age of 28 and was buried in Hilda,Alta. Lydia's mother & father took care of the children. Her husband married Katharyn Gebhardt who helped raise his family. They had one son of their own whose name was Herbert.
