Mrs. M. Daily died this morning after an illness extending for the last nine years. While ill all this time she was able to be around the most of the time and the suddenness of her death therefore, she was sick in bed but a day, found the loving family all the more unprepared for the sad to the husband, who knew the deceased from infancy, their families coming together from Ireland and locating in Wisconsin. The two grew up together and the wife has been a true help mate to the husband.
Rose Ann Farrell was born in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Dec. 8, 1859 and died at Great Bend, Kansas, March 1, 1909 at 8:30 a.m. being 50 years, 2 months and 23 days of age at the time of her death. She was married to Michael Dailey at Cedarburg, Wis., February 10, 18880 and with two weeks thereafter they came to Kansas and moved on a farm near Olmitz, where they lived until about seven years ago when they moved to Great Bend.
Mrs. Dailey had been sick for about nine years, but had never complained and has been up and around the house until the day before her death. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and six children, two sons, John and James and four daughters, Mary, Agnes, Julia and Emma, the youngest being eleven years old.
Funeral services will be held at the Catholic church Wednesday, March 3rd, at 10 o'clock, interment in the Catholic cemetery. The tribune extends the sympathy of the community to the bereaved relatives.
