Immigrated to America 66yrs ago and made her home in Scotland, SD where she married John Schenkenberger. They came to Lodi in 1898 where they established their home. She died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Gottlieb G. Hieb while on a visit. Survived by children Mrs. Emelia Lang of Anamoose, ND, Mrs. Lydia Stoddard of Vallejo, Mrs. Christine Hieb of Oakland, John of Hayward, Mrs. Bertha Hoff, Pauline Bender, Mrs. Sarah Moore, John, Henry and Jacob, all of Lodi, step-children - Mrs. Erna Mettler, Mrs. Edna Bender, Laura Jungeblut, Calvin, all of Lodi. Mother of the late Mrs. Louise Weltz of Fresno. Internment will be beside her husband in the family plot in Lodi Cemetery. ref: Lodi Sentinel 19 Oct 1936
