Christian Geissler was born in Neu Freudental, South Ruddia on 30 Jan 1860. He had liver cancer and died on 4 Aug 1926 at the age of 66 years, 5 months, 4 days. Survived by 7 children, 4 sons-in-law, 3 sisters-in-law [daughters-in-law?], 15 grandchildren, a brother, 2 sisters. His son Peter is a pastor in Sheffield, IA. He married Christina Woehl in 1881 and they had 12 children, 5 of whom died in childhood. He came to the US in 1884 and settled in NE; 2 years later they moved to ND. After his wife's death, he married Elisabeth Miller in 1921.
