Henry Kitzman, who lives north of Loveland, received word yesterday of the death of his brother, August Kitzman, aged 26, in a hospital in France. The dispatch was very brief but the cause of death was supposedly influenza.
He left Loveland the 27th of April 1918 and sailed for France with the 345th infantry. Before leaving for service in the army, he farmed near Loveland.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kitzman are both living and farming near Goodrich, Colorado. Four brothers, Henry, who lives north of Loveland, Peter and Jacob of Goodrich, and George of Sutton, Nebraska, and three sisters, Mrs. Christina Pfalzgraff of this city, Mrs. Magdalena Ochsner of Sutton, Nebraska, and Mrs. Margaret Ackerman of Sutton, Nebraska, also survive him.

Peter Kitzmann dies at family home thursday. Peter Kitzmann, age 76, died at 3 o'clovk this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. Pfalzgraff, 623 east twelfth street. He had suffered for several months from kidney trouble, but had been confined to his bed only a few weeks. A native of Russia, he settled in Nebraska in 1894, coming to Loveland in 1903. He was industrious and a good citizen and well throught of in the community. A son, Augustus, died in France while serving his country. Funeral service will be held saturday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Rice's mortuary, and interment made at Loveland Burial Park.

The last rites for Mrs. Magdelena Kitzman, who passed away Wednesday following a long illness resulting from a broken hip, were held Saturday afternoon at the Rice Chapel, the Rev. J. A. Hochstatter officiating, followed by interment at Lakeside cemetery beside her husband, who passed away here in 1922. Services were then held at the Hope Reformed Lutheran Church.
The pallbearers were George Weickum, John Ullman, Henry Gemar, Leonard Schroetlin, Henry Jesser, W. G. Schwartz.
Musical numbers were rendered by Johnathan and Ruth Hochstatter and Miss Clara Gemar who sang "Asleep in Jesus," "What at Last I'm Home," with accompaniment by Mrs. Hochstatter.
Many relatives were here for the services from Sutton, Nebraska, and Rocky Ford, Colorado, as well as those in this community.
